Sunrise over Albategnius. This photo, taken through a 9mm Kellner eyepiece and 2 x Barlow lens, is dominated by this Walled Plain with it's central peak. Within this plain is the Crater Klein. To the left of Albategnuis in the older, degraded walled plain Hipparchus containing Crater Horrocks near it's left edge. The top-right wall of Hipparchus has been intruded by Crater Halley. The dark crater to the right of Albategnius is called Parrot ! |
