Title: Light rain Author: Noah Birksted

I would like to depict jealousy through the ages,
Starting with my name.
Newpaper cuttings write about nothing else.
Art galleries are modern as art itself -
Quite the hospital for jealousy.
The exhibitions are free, boys and girls stroll around.
Dialogue in paintings, dialogue and paintings.
The light is good for thinking. Lots to say.
Jealousy is a hat we wear for Sunday lunches,
A suit we can peel off in front of our loved ones.
It is what we hope to find, the other way around,
All along. It is Sunday's Sunday, day of proposal,
When rain is light and eyes flash for a bit.
There is no place for jealousy here, here where jealousy is.
