I have made a proper links section! (Incidentally - I'm quite tipsy right now, having been to the pub at lunchtime with G, whose last day it is here...) In this links section you will find everything you could ever desrie dersie deseir. Have a look.

After two months of intense idleness, I've now done something about the out-of-date state of the site. My apologies to everyone, particularly those who have been bombarding me with work and shouting at me for not putting it up. I have been... otherwise indisposed.

Crumbs, I was so lazy in June.

Laundry_angel has been added to the novella group. Hurrah for Chris Dillabough.
The redesign is now almost complete. The only pages left to go into the new template are in the submission and competition sections.
Thanks for all the work I've been sent recently. I have put some of it up today. I'll put the rest up when Hotmail actually allows me to see my account...
If you'd like to comment on the redesigned site, please contact me at: novellanet@hotmail.com
The front page and poetry section of this site have now been fully redesigned. If you would like to comment on the new look, please e-mail me here.
Thanks to those who have continued sending me work. Much of it will appear in the new-look novella as soon as I have got through the whole redesign. Please continue to send stuff in to me via e-mail or using the submissions page.
Finally - could someone please send me a suggestion for a new poem of the week? Thanks.
Sorry that novella hasn't been updated for a few days - I'm working hard redesigning it. Parts of the site (eg: poetry) should be up and running in the new design by the end of this week. You can see the basic template here.
April
Right. Don't snigger: I've met someone over the internet. I used to think that making any new friends over the internet was very sad. Don't get the wrong end of the stick - no cyber shagging has occurred nor will be occurring. However, this person helps run (deputy ed, je crois) a university English Lit society, and wants to do a sort of link-up hook-together thing with novella. Things are moving: laundry_angel, university link-ups, novella... Soon we'll be challenging the Microshont Network.
Chris Dillabough has agreed to let me host his new web log laundry_angel [currently residing here] alongside novella. This is good news as it is very, er, good.
I'm very pleased to say that Alex Graham (from whom I must admit I first heard of Pushkin's Exegi monumentum) has sent me a brief comment on the poem and why it makes him go Ooo. It's made my day. Read it by clicking the link above, stoopid.
March: 1022. Nyce. (You may not know what I'm talking about, but some people do. You'll just have to keep coming back to find out).
March
It's March 29th, novella is on 968 page impressions for the month, and there's 2 days to go. Will we make it past the magic 1000 PIs this month?...
Chris Dillabough has asked me to take one of his pieces of work off the site for now, because he's worried it may offend certain people! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!! Can you guess which one it is? (His latest comment on this subject is: "It's funny - censorship.")
