journalist

After four years working at Local London (scroll down), the city is now my specialist subject.

A couple of recent articles:

  • Interview with Ken Livingstone
  • Brand new London opera
  • Lichtenstein exhibit
  • web design

Simple but effective web sites I have built for charities and NGOs:
  • Friends of Academic Research in Georgia
  • the London Information Network on Conflicts and State-Building
  • Actual Media Training

Will Brown and I used to run and edit a site called HonestDog, which published arts news, reviews and creative writing.

Though it's been offline for over a year, I have resurrected my favourite edition of HonestDog for your edification.

    (HonestDog's predecessor was novella.)

    geography

Here's the rest: I now live in Stoke Newington with my girlfriend, who's from Rheinberg. I studied at Magdalen College, Oxford and grew up in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

My mum and dad now live in Hexham, Northumberland. My sister, her husband and their dog all live near Aberdeen.
